Abyss Flash is a minimalist, monochrome 2D stealth and photographic memory survival horror game built in Godot 4.3.

Every chamber begins with a fleeting photographic flash of light, illuminating walls, deadly spike trenches, roaming horrors, and the golden vault key. When total darkness falls, you must navigate entirely from memory.

GAMEPLAY MECHANICS

• The Photographic Memory Flash: Memorize the chamber layout in the split second before darkness consumes the room.
• Dynamic Threat System: Use your flashlight sparingly. Every second of light accelerates the Threat Meter and draws nearby entities toward your position.
• Crimson Stalker (Red Ghost): A phototropic apex predator. It tracks you through the dark when you flash your torch. Turn to face it and shine your beam directly into its eyes to temporarily stun it!
• Blind Lurker (Pink Ghost): Completely blind to light, but has acute hearing. Sprinting ripples alert it from across the hall. Never sprint near it!
• Sanctuary Checkpoints (Depths 11–20): Deep multi-chamber levels feature Sanctuary Gates that save your progress midway with a temporary shield.
• Infinite Abyss Mode: Conquer all 20 Depths to unlock the endless procedural descent gauntlet.
